What is your favourite place in your city or country?

Our reporters interviewed a handful of people from Great Britain and the USA about their favourite places in their cities and countries. Here is what they told us:

"My favourite place is Piccadilly Circus, a famous road junction in London. It's impressive to see a million different modes of transportation going in different directions. It's like the circulation system of the city! Amazing to watch!"

"I absolutely love the coastline of South Wales and the fabulous castles located there. You can book a room in one of those castles and enjoy the pleasures of wild Welsh nature."

"I would definitely pick Fifth Avenue, one of the leading shopping areas of the world. I love this place, especially when there are sales. Fifth Avenue is full of real bargains!" 

"There are many places I like in my city. It's hard to choose just one... Well, there's a small park in the centre of Leicester Square. I usually have lunch there. The park is really beautiful."

"One of my favourite places is Anglesey, an island off the northern coast of Wales. It's deserted. It's rough. It's real Wales."

"I love watching planes. I often go to Stansted Airport, the third largest airport serving London after Heathrow and Gatwick."
